Account and troubleshooting

Getting help and contacting support

Search the help center first, and if that doesn't sort it, open a support request in a couple of clicks. We reply by email, and you can track the whole conversation in the app.

The short version

Click Help in your sidebar to reach the help center, where you can search articles and browse by topic. If you can't find your answer, click Contact support, tell us what's going on, and send it. You'll get a ticket number, we reply to your email, and your tickets live under Help so you can follow along.

Finding an answer yourself

Most questions have an article already. Open Help from your sidebar (both portals have it) and you'll land on the help center:

  • Search. Type what you're stuck on. Results narrow as you go.
  • Browse by topic. Categories group the articles, so you can wander to the right one.
  • Popular articles. The most-opened guides for your side of the platform sit up front.

Job seekers and employers see help tuned to their side, so you're not wading through the other portal's articles.

Contacting support

Can't find it? Open a request:

  1. Click Contact support. You'll find it at the top of the help center, at the bottom of any article ("Was this helpful?"), and on each topic page ("Need a hand?").
  2. In the window that opens, fill in What do you need help with? As you type, we show a few articles that might already answer it, in case one saves you the wait.
  3. Add the details: what happened, what you expected, and any error message you saw. The more specific, the faster we can help.
  4. Click Send request.

You'll see a confirmation with your ticket number, and a note that we'll reply to your email as soon as we can.

Include the specifics: the page you were on, the exact wording of any error, and what you'd already tried. It often turns two or three back-and-forth emails into one.

Tracking your tickets

Every request becomes a ticket you can follow:

  • Open your tickets from Help, then Tickets (job seekers or employers).
  • Open any ticket to read the whole conversation and reply right there.
  • You'll also get an email when we reply, and the reply shows up in your in-app notifications.

A ticket moves through a few states: open (with us), pending (waiting on you), and resolved once it's sorted. If something's still not right after we resolve it, just reply and it reopens. A closed ticket is finished, so if a new issue comes up, start a fresh request.

Prefer email?

You can always reach us at support@greenjobsboard.us. Employers also have a Support contact card in Data & privacy settings with a copy button, and job seekers can find the same address in their Privacy & data settings. Replies usually arrive within two business days.

Good to know

  • We reply by email. Keep an eye on the inbox for the address on your account, and check spam if it's quiet (see Email not arriving).
  • Support updates follow your notification settings. The receipt, our replies, and the resolved note are one of the switch groups in Notifications. They're on by default.
  • Some things are self-serve now. Password and email changes don't need a ticket. Start with Resetting your password.
  • Signed out and need us? You can still email support@greenjobsboard.us. The in-app form asks you to sign in first.
  • One request per issue. If a ticket is closed and something new comes up, open a fresh one rather than replying to the old thread.

Trouble?

  • You didn't get a confirmation email. The ticket still went through. Open Tickets under Help to see it, and check spam for our replies.
  • You can't reply to a ticket. It's probably closed. Start a new request and mention the old ticket number.
  • You're not signed in. The in-app form needs you signed in. Sign in, or email support@greenjobsboard.us directly.
