Clean manufacturing jobs

Manufacturing is where climate technology gets built at scale. This pathway covers battery and heat pump production, solar and wind components, electric vehicle assembly, low-carbon cement and steel, and industrial decarbonization inside existing plants.

The work is concentrated in production facilities, so it is geographically specific in a way most of the climate economy is not. Plant roles, process and quality engineering, and supply chain positions all hire steadily, often near a factory rather than a coastal city.
