Reports to: Director of Programming
Location:
Mount Kisco, NY / Hybrid. Frequent travel within the Hudson Valley (primarily Westchester County) is required, with occasional availability needed for nights and weekends.

Description:

The Program Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the EnergySmart Homes program offerings and serve as a Community Energy Advisor (CEA), as part of the Mid-Hudson Regional Clean Energy Hub. This role is responsible for providing assistance, education, and support to residents and small multifamily building owners on adopting clean energy solutions for their homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive adoption of energy efficiency and clean energy programs through outreach and education (including workshops, public events, energy kit sessions, etc.) in support of NYSERDA energy efficiency and clean energy programs.
  • Support residents and building owners in Westchester County with an interest in energy efficiency and clean energy upgrades via phone and email support, application assistance, project status tracking, and effective communication between clients and contractors.
  • Become and serve as a subject matter expert and respond to questions about the NYSERDA Regional Clean Energy Hub Program.
  • Engage in the planning of strategic home energy efficiency programs, considering the needs of a  diverse range of program participants seeking electrification solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate the deployment of clean energy solutions and increase access to affordable clean energy in marginalized communities.
  • Manage installer partner relationships and oversee quarterly reconciliation and invoicing with installer partners.
  • Manage and analyze data from CRM databases for progress reports.
  • Track and communicate updates on clean energy rebate and incentive models, including NYSERDA and NYS Clean Heat programs.
  • Contribute to the development of positive relationships with stakeholders, partnering agencies, installer partners, organizations, and community leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Thrives in dynamic settings and can adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to attend events during evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient in standard office applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with CRM systems and project management tools preferred.
  • Quick to absorb new information and able to convey ideas clearly through spoken, written, and visual formats.
  • Capable of juggling long-term initiatives alongside day-to-day responsibilities—skilled at prioritizing, organizing, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds of materials to multiple locations within Westchester County.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable, fully insured vehicle.
