Organization Overview
Greenlight America is the leading grassroots campaign force powering the nation’s clean energy transition at the local level. Founded in 2023, we support local organizations and volunteers working to get clean energy projects built in their communities. In the past two years we have advanced more than 25 gigawatts of clean power to the grid, approximately 13x the size of the Hoover Dam.
Position Overview
As an Industry Engagement Manager, you will build and maintain trusted relationships with utility-scale clean energy developers and the consultants who support them. You will serve as a primary point of contact for industry stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of Greenlight campaigns, ensuring timely communication, strategic alignment, and a collaborative partner experience. Your work will directly contribute to campaign success, developer confidence, and Greenlight’s credibility as an independent third-party validator in the permitting ecosystem.
Successful candidates will bring experience in the utility-scale clean energy industry, ideally in project development, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, permitting, or community engagement. They will possess strong emotional intelligence, excellent judgment, and a demonstrated ability to build productive relationships across diverse stakeholders. Existing relationships within the renewable energy industry are a plus, as is familiarity with utility-scale project development and community engagement best practices.
The strongest candidates are exceptional communicators and relationship-builders who thrive in fast-moving environments. They are proactive, highly organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and skilled at balancing competing priorities. They approach challenges with curiosity, creativity, and a solutions-oriented mindset and are highly motivated to accelerate the clean energy transition.
This position is remote and reports to the Industry Engagement Director.
