Jeff Geist

Jeff Geist is Director of Community Engagement, Programs and Partnerships at Duke Farms, a center of the Doris Duke Foundation, where he leads the community engagement strategy and oversees programs. Since joining Duke Farms in 2017, he has held progressively senior roles across creating opportunities that connect people with conservation. His earlier work included developing professional learning opportunities for conservation practitioners and an internship initiative focused on access in environmental careers. Jeff was a 2023 North American Association for Environmental Education CEE-Change Fellow and holds degrees in environmental conservation education from New York University and ecology, evolution and natural resources from Rutgers University.
