Saad Amer

Saad Amer is a global leader at the intersection of climate, policy, and social impact. He is Founder of Justice Environment, which advises governments, businesses, and nonprofits on climate and the just transition. He serves as an Expert Reviewer for the IPCC and consultant to the United Nations. A prominent voting rights organizer, Saad has reached millions through campaigns featuring Al Gore, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Taylor Swift. He advises the National Parks Conservation Association and helped secure $6.5 billion in conservation funding. His work has spanned climate research in the Indian Himalayas, drafting Harvard’s inaugural Sustainability Plan, and the discovery of a new hybrid species in French Polynesia. A Forbes “30 Under 30” honoree and WWD’s most influential ESG leader, Saad has written for National Geographic, PBS, and Rolling Stone and spoken at the UN, White House, and EPA. He studied at Harvard University and was a fellow at Yale.
