Suma Reddy

Suma Reddy is the founder and CEO of Gather, a robotics company whose mission is to expand who can use, build, and benefit from physical AI. Gather is building a hands-on robotics and workforce-development platform that bridges classroom learning and industrial automation. Through Sandbox Robotics, students assemble, program, and deploy full-scale mobile robots to solve real problems for farms, businesses, and communities—building practical skills, confidence, and pathways into the future of work. A three-time climate and agriculture technology founder, Suma previously co-founded ventures in indoor farming, waste management, and renewable energy. She began her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali and at a microfinance startup in India. She teaches at SVA’s Products of Design program and was named a White House Champion of Change for her LGBTQ+ advocacy. Suma holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA from the University of Rochester.
