Jake Mitchell

Jake leads business development for the Trellis Network, a peer community of corporate sustainability professionals for companies with at least $1B in annual revenue. Prior to this role, he build digital and in-person event content at Trellis Group, leading coverage on climate tech startups, investors and corporate venture groups. Before Trellis, Jake built early stage startups, managed programs in renewable energy and economic development, produced film, and hosted his own podcast. Jake has his MBA in Sustainability from Bard College. He’s also a meditation and breath-work practitioner and leads wellness sessions at Trellis’s in-person events. Outside of work, you can find him hiking in the woods, jamming on his mandolin, or following the whims of his golden retriever.
