Alexia Leclercq

Alexia is an environmental justice organizer, scholar, and artist, and founder and Executive Director of Land Justice Community School. Her climate education curriculum has reached more than 120,000 students, and in 2021 she launched the first climate organizing fellowship designed by and for Gen Z youth of color. Her leadership has been recognized by Bloomberg, The Washington Post, Forbes, New York Times, and The Guardian, and honored with the Brower Youth Award, Jericho Activism Prize, WeAct EJ Award, Harvard AOCC Award, Forbes 30 under 30, and WWF Conservation Award. She served as the 2022 UN Assembly Ambassador for the United States and as a liaison for the 2025 National Academies Cumulative Impacts Study.
