Daniel Hill is a leading voice on climate careers. He is the creator of OpenDoorClimate, a community that has facilitated more than 70,000 conversations between climate professionals and people looking to enter or grow within the field. Daniel is also Director of Strategy and Innovation at Environmental Defense Fund and co-host of the Degrees: Real Talk About Planet-Saving Careers podcast. He was named a 2025 Grist 50 Fixer and is a former Echoing Green Climate Fellow. Earlier in his career, he was a social entrepreneur and energy consultant.
