Diana Franco is a long-standing advocate for women's economic development in City Government. At NYCEDC, she is Senior Vice President in the Economic Mobility and Social Impact Division, and head of Women.NYC, the flagship City initiative to improve women’s representation in high-growth sectors, making NYC the best place in the world for women of all backgrounds to thrive. Prior to that, she served as the inaugural Executive Director of Women Entrepreneurs of NYC supporting women-owned-enterprises. Her work has now served over 40,000 women. A serial entrepreneur by nature, she is a founding executive of three tech startups with successful exits, and a co-founder of a women’s foundation. After 15 years in entrepreneurship, she is now leveraging her experience in government to build a better NYC for all. The City of New York has honored Ms. Franco's work with three awards: one for Excellence in Public Service, Diversity and Inclusion at SBS, and Entrepreneurship in City Government
