Mona Chun

Mona Chun is Chief Strategy Consultant at mebl | Transforming Furniture, which supports changemakers in accelerating the furniture industry’s transition to a circular, climate-positive future. In her previous role overseeing programs and partnerships at mebl, she launched its research, educational webinars, events and resources, including the Circular Design Glossary and Action Guide. Her commitment to circularity and a Just Transition is informed by her 20+ year career in human rights, philanthropy and civic engagement at the local, national and international levels, including as Executive Director of the Human Rights Funders Network and Founding Executive Director of the Center for Sustainable Human Rights Action. As a strategy consultant, Mona continues to support organizations in building partnerships, movements and cross-sector networks for peer learning, smart growth, leveraging collective power and co-creating solutions for change.
