Dr. Kerrie Carfagno has taught sustainable business courses focusing on how leaders can effectively communicate climate risk and opportunity to increase profitability, sustainability, and resilience for 19+ years. Her focus in on increasing the ability for technical content (on your resume or work project) to be communicated so that others understand quickly and appreciate your work. Kerrie’s the Program Director for the Masters of Science in Environment and Sustainability Management(ESM) program and an associate teaching professor with dual appointments at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and Earth Commons Institute. Before coming to Georgetown, Kerrie taught undergraduate and graduate courses for the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Kerrie was the inaugural senior fellow at Generation180, a non-profit working to equip people to take action on clean energy.
