Job Description

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of work experience in Community Engagement or Community Organizing and Project Management.
  • Strong communication skills and a deep understanding of communication strategies, with a passion for building trust and effectively engaging a broad range of stakeholders—from senior city staff and community leaders to diverse community members and groups.
  • Experience in organizing, outreach, relationship building, and developing high-touch nurture campaigns.
  • Passionate about empowering people and communities on climate change solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to track and report on performance metrics and use data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and event participation.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to work from home/remote required, must be located in the U.S.
  • Proficiency in another language (ie Spanish) is a plus.

Full-time, remote position with benefits. Starting salary is $75,000 - $85,000. BrightAction Communities is mission driven and has a positive work environment and creative, collaborative team.
