Percy Summers

Percy Summers, PhD is Senior Director of Conservation International’s partnership with Arizona State University’s School of Conservation Futures, where he leads efforts to prepare the next generation of conservation leaders through innovative, practice-oriented learning programs. He works across Conservation International’s global network and with ASU faculty to develop experiential learning opportunities that integrate scientific, Indigenous, and practitioner knowledge to address today’s most pressing conservation challenges. With more than 20 years of experience, Summers has advanced conservation science, sustainable development, and landscape-scale initiatives across the Amazon and beyond. He previously served as Senior Director of Science and Development for Conservation International–Peru, leading work on climate, biodiversity, sustainable landscapes, and ocean conservation.
